St. Cloud State University is waiving applications fees for undergraduate applicants through the month of October.
The promotion is part of College Knowledge Month, an annual statewide effort to encourage students to apply to college.
The goal of College Knowledge Month is to provide every graduating high school senior with the preparation, opportunity and support needed to apply to college, while increasing college readiness and access.
“College Knowledge Month is a great endeavor in Minnesota to ensure that high school seniors have the tools and support they need to conduct an effective college search and apply to a variety of colleges without having to worry about the expense of the application fees,” said Amber Schultz, assistant vice president for Admissions, Marketing and Recruitment.
Admissions staff will also be present at a variety of high school events promoting College Knowledge Month to assist students with their college application and college search process.
St. Cloud State is one of the few Minnesota State colleges and universities offering free applications throughout the month. Many are opting to waive applications the week of Oct. 24-31.
Application fees for qualified low-income students are always waived at all Minnesota State colleges and universities.
