Chris Wayne
Chris Wayne ’03 has been named a Central Minnesota Noon and St. Cloud Morning Optimist Club’s Friend of Youth Award recipient for 2017.
Presented to eight area individuals, the Friend of Youth award honors those who help make children’s lives better. Wayne was nominated by the Boy Scouts of America Central Minnesota Council.
A donation of $100 will be made to a youth or community organization to honor the contributions he has made for kids in the community.
Staying connected in the community, Wayne also volunteers for the Central Minnesota Community Foundation Investment Committee, the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation and St. Cloud Opportunities.
Wayne, vice president and partner at Laraway Financial, earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Cloud State.
