St. Cloud Times – St. Cloud State University students who show up to the doctor with a mental health issue now have a much quicker route to get help on campus.
In fact, they won’t have to leave Eastman Hall, which is newly renovated from a gymnasium to a health and wellness center.
The new campus medical clinic opened to patients Monday. Staff in the building’s other offices move in this month.
Eastman Hall’s former basketball center court is now a light-filled lounge and waiting room for the clinic, with a grand staircase leading to a newly built level for counseling and psychological services as well as the School of Health and Human Services.
