Students nominated several of their faculty members for being outstanding disability advocates during the Fall 2019 semester.
Student Accessibility Services honored the nominees with disABILITY Access Award certificates.
“As the Student Accessibility Services Office, we value the work that faculty do to provide an accessible classroom for students, help to promote students to use accommodations, and want to recognize faculty for their great work,” said Andria Belisle, Student Accessibility Services director. “Thank you for all the support you provide to assist in breaking down barriers for students and working towards our vision to become recognized as an institution that respects and empowers independence and academic success among students with disabilities.”
