St. Cloud Times – Some familiar St. Cloud-area construction projects are among more than $3 billion in requests that have already flooded in for the public works borrowing bill that the Legislature is expected to pass next year.
St. Cloud-are requests include: St. Cloud: $6 million to acquire and develop about 120 acres for Friedrich Regional Park, at the east end of University Drive. The park reopened this summer after being closed since the 1970s. The land includes numerous water-filled quarries and rock outcroppings. The bonding request includes funding for a master plan, design and construction.
