They hail from Pipestone and Lagos, Nigeria. They aspire to be educators, social workers, healthcare workers, engineers and business professionals, among other careers. The students come from three U.S. states and six countries and include representatives from all six St. Cloud State University colleges and schools and are being recognized this spring for outstanding leadership.

St. Cloud State University hosted over 60 area high school students at the 2019 Scrubs Camp June 16-18. Campers were exposed to elements of nursing, public health/emergency preparedness and gerontology by way of hands-on experiences, simulations and demonstrations. St. Cloud State University and St. Cloud Technical and Community College are hosting their 3rd annual Scrubs Camp. The three-day camp kicks off Monday and runs through Wednesday.
Desta Lutzwick ’77, Otter Tail County’s director of probation will retire at the end of May. Lutzwick, a graduate of St. Cloud State University, began her career in Anoka County as a probation officer in 1977.
