Central Minnesotans of all backgrounds gathered for a celebration at Apollo High School on Saturday. The St. Cloud State University American Indian Center held their 25th annual Spring Powwow.
In May, students Chryssa King ’18 and Elizabeth Solarz went on a fishing expedition of sorts. With a specially-equipped Mobile Exposure Laboratory Trailer in tow — a rarity in scientific work — the students traveled to Two Rivers, Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Michigan as part of a federal program to improve water quality and wildlife habitats in the Great Lakes region.
