Less than three months after re-forming as a student club at St. Cloud State University, the members of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) will host a major event to connect teachers with resources for students in transition.

St. Cloud State University has earned a $71,000 Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage Grant to help preserve the Birk Collection, a collection of artifacts from Minnesota’s history.

Mary Soroko ’86 and Andy Ditlevson recently endowed a scholarship for the Herberger Business School, an honors scholarship for highly-motivated first-generation students. It is one of the more than 530 Huskies Scholarships currently being offered to students.

Former Huskies baseball player and St. Cloud State University graduate Joey Benke ‘12 will compete in A&E Network’s show “America’s Top Dog,” which debuted in January in California. Benke is currently a police officer in Bismarck, ND with the Bismarck Police Department.

St. Cloud State University will present “Our Community:  Dream, Serve, Believe” the 2020 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast and Day of Service, 8-10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at the River’s Edge Convention Center. The breakfast is free and open to the public. 

Professor Kate Pound recently presented a poster and e-Lightning digital poster on teaching materials she developed for a blind student at the American Geophysical Union Fall meeting.
