Ben Baliga earns ASEM’s highest honor

Ben Baliga accepts the Bernard R. Sarchet Award from the American Society for Engineering Management President Heather Nachtmann.

The American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) granted Professor Ben Baliga its highest honor Oct. 20 when it presented him with the Bernard R. Sarchet Award.

The award is considered ASEM’s highest award and recognizes the contribution the ASEM member who has contributed the most to ASEM and to the field of engineering management. Baliga accepted the award Oct. 20 during the ASEM International Annual Conference in Hunstville, Alabama.

Baliga is an engineering management professor at St. Cloud State University and is the director of the Master of Engineering Management and the Executive Master of Engineering Management programs.
